Fans have been left raging at the price of a beer at the Premier League Darts final at the O2 Arena in London.
London prices are extreme, but darts fans got the shock of their life when they went to order a drink from the bars inside. Incredibly, Luke Littler’s nine-dart leg wasn’t the most outrageous sight of the night.
A picture posted to social media showed the prices of alcoholic drinks on sale inside the O2 Arena and for anyone who lives north of Milton Keynes, yes, people are charged that much for a beer, and yes, they will pay it.

According to the screens behind the bars, a pint of Budweiser, Stella Artois or Camden Stout would have set a thirsty fan back £8.95, while Camden Pale Ale was priced at £9.25 and a Camden Hells Lager at £9.50. Pints of Madri and Guinness going for £7.50 at Cheltenham Festival seem relatively cheap in comparison.
But thankfully, there was a two-pint offer for those buying one for their mate, or just not wanting to return to see such atrocities happen to their bank accounts. However, the offer for two beers was £17.90 – just double the price of one pint.

Fans on social media vented their anger as one even pointed out that prices are cheaper at the Cheltenham Festival – where a pint costs £7.50. “Think Cheltenham is bad, have a look at the drinks prices at PL darts at O2,” one said.
A second wrote: “£9.50 for a pint of Camden Hells is f***ing robbery,” with a third quipping: “Well, at least if you buy two, you only get to pay twice the price, what a disgrace” while another also clocked the ironic offer, adding: “Love the saving on ordering 2 pints.”
However, those fans in attendance were treated to an incredible night of darts as Luke Littler was crowned the champion after hitting a nine-dart leg on his way to beating world No.1 and world champion Luke Humphries in a breathtaking final. 2023 world champ Michael Smith and seven-time Premier League winner Michael van Gerwen were the beaten semi-finalists.
