One man, who is shirtless, appears to be knocked out and left lying on the ground in the road during the brawl as another helps to stabilise his head. The fighting continues around the pair as two buses are forced to stop.

The fighting continues to explode across the street, as a woman walks into the scuffle to help a man off the ground. After being helped up by the woman the man then continues to fight.

Saturday afternoon could be the last time Red Devils fans see Ten Hag lead their team. According to reports from the Guardian, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is looking to bring in a new boss for the INEOS era.

And quizzed by the BBC ahead of the clash, Ten Hag was asked how much the talk about his possible exit affected their preparation: “[It has] not.

“I am focused on the game and the team. I don’t talk about my future. It’s not about me, it’s about the team and winning the cup.”

There wasn’t so much of a fight from City on the pitch, and their unfancied rivals took a 2-0 lead into half-time with goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.

United were cruising until City’s silky winger Jeremy Doku handed City a lifeline with minutes on the clock. However, it was too little too late for Pep Guardiola’s side.

The Red Devils claimed their first silverware of the season – and potentially last under Ten Hag.
