Ferrari star Charles Leclerc was spotted riding his bicycle home just hours after winning the Monaco Grand Prix.
The Monegasque became the first home driver to win the Monaco Grand Prix in F1 history on Sunday (May 27). Burying years of hurt, Leclerc appeared to be cursed around the streets of his hometown following bad luck in recent years costing him victory, but the 26-year-old finally got his dream win.
Leclerc started on pole for the race and converted his start at the front of the grid into the sixth win of his career and his first since the Austrian Grand Prix in 2022 in a dominant performance that saw him take the chequered flag over seven seconds in front of runner-up Oscar Piastri.

While the race in the principality plays host to the richest fans of the sport in the world, with Port Hercules welcoming billions of pounds worth of yachts for the weekend, Leclerc rode home solo as he let his emotional victory set in.
Seen as one of the most down to Earth drivers on the F1 grid, Leclerc opted to bike from the track to his home in Monaco as he was filmed by drivers wearing his red Ferrari polo shirt and jeans.

Leclerc had previously qualified on pole twice in his home race, seeing his bid for victory in 2021 falter as he failed to start the race after damage caused to his car during qualifying proved too extensive.
He then fell victim to a major strategy error from Ferrari a year later, even failing to finish on the podium.
Having lost his father, Herve, to cancer a year before he made it to F1, Leclerc was left in tears as he spoke after his dream victory. “My father has done absolutely everything for me to get to where I am today,” Leclerc said.
“Our dream was to race and win Monaco in F1. I wouldn’t have imagined when I was younger I would race with Ferrari one day and win this race, and that was obviously the ultimate dream right before becoming world champion.
“I felt like I not only completed my own dream but also the one of my father. And of my mother, who has sustained me in everything I have done since then and who has been an incredibly strong woman when we all lost my dad.”
