Moonen captioned the snaps: “La baguette. Le croissant. Leclerc,” showing her support for the home winner. Charles Leclerc took the chequered flag in Monaco for the first time his career on Sunday (May 26).

Leclerc, who took pole on Saturday, avoided the crashes and chaos as the race weaved its way around the narrow streets of the principality to achieve his first Grand Prix win since the Austrian Grand Prix in July 2022.

Moonen, who was once a budding cyclist, is no stranger to motorsport, and she was a guest of Williams at the Dutch GP last year.

The Dutch beauty was once a hot property in the cycling world, and she earned a contract with Lotto-Soudal Ladies – a professional cycling team – but a knee injury caused her to leave the set-up in 2019. It was with the team she was first dubbed as the ‘world’s most beautiful athlete’.

While competing at the top of the sport, Moonen had juggled cycling with studying Chemistry and Natural Sciences at her local college, with hopes of becoming a doctor.

These days, Moonen has turned her attention away from the road – and she spends a lot of her time being a cycling influencer on social media.

However, that doesn’t mean Moonen doesn’t race, and she took part in the inaugural UCI Gravel World Championships.
