McDonald’s make large menu modifications with epic new burger and Happy Meal makeover

McDonald’s has just dropped its sizzling new summer menu today – and it’s also kicking off a fresh Happy Meal experiment.

The golden arches are rolling out a brand spanking new burger and welcoming back some fan favourites. Say hello to the “Hat Trick” burger a meaty marvel with triple beef patties, double cheese, grilled onions, mustard, and ketchup, all nestled in a classic sesame seed bun.

This mega burger will cost you £5.89 solo or £7.69 if you fancy the full meal deal.

The Chicken Sharebox is strutting back into the spotlight this summer, packed with six Chicken Selects, a dozen Chicken McNuggets, a couple of McNugget dips, and two Selects dips.

If that’s not enough, there’s also a Nine Chicken Selects Sharebox on offer, reports The Mirror.

And McDonald’s is bringing three new dip sensations to the table, with a “new and improved” Garlic Mayo, Sweet and Smoky BBQ, and Sweet Chilli. And for £2.39, the crowd-pleasing Mozzarella Bites are making a triumphant return, complete with their crunchy coating and tangy tomato dip.

For those with a craving for sweets, the Skittles McFlurry is a dream come true, blending the iconic McFlurry with chewy Skittles fudge pieces, sugary pearls, and drizzled with a purple Skittles-flavoured sauce.

Chocolate aficionados aren’t left out either they can indulge in the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry for just £2.19.

McDonald’s is spicing up its dessert menu with the introduction of the Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie. Priced at £1.99, this delightful treat features a crispy chocolate pastry filled with chocolate ganache and a raspberry compote.

The fast-food giant is also bringing back iced lattes as a permanent menu item for £2.49.

In addition to these sweet treats, McDonald’s is launching a new Happy Meal trial today in select stores across the North West and certain outlets in the Republic of Ireland. If the 14-week trial proves successful, the new menu item could be introduced in McDonald’s branches nationwide.

The four fresh additions to the Happy Meal menu include Fish Bites, Flavoured Milk, the McFreezy, and the much-loved Mayo Chicken.

Fish Bites are bite-sized pollock pieces encased in a crisp panko breadcrumb coating, served with a dip of your choice. These will also be available as a side on the main menu in a serving of nine for £5.79.

The McFreezy is a frozen fruit juice and puree dessert, available in either Orange or Mango and Pineapple flavours – this will also feature on the main menu for £1.59. Lastly, the Flavoured Milk will come in Chocolate, Strawberry, and Banana varieties, all naturally flavoured and free from added sugar.
