Some individuals just seem to be jinxed in life.
And this definitely seems to be the case for Tilly Whitfield when she books in for beauty treatments. The 24-year-old first made headlines last year when she attempted a DIY faux freckle treatment with damaging results.
And now, the Big Brother Australia star has confessed to another beauty mishap. On TikTok, she warned others against following damaging crazes with her post captioned: “Don’t follow trends kids.”

In her video, Tilly poses and provides an explanatory overlay that reads: “You want the thin 90s brows but you got yours tattooed on when dark thick brows were a trend.”
As you can see, she struggled to achieve the ‘thin brow’ look. But as she’d already got thicker eyebrows done in the past, this was pretty hard to achieve.
Despite Tilly’s candid admission about the brow blunder, people flooded her comments section with supportive messages. And many insisted she looks great regardless!
One user commented: “Be careful of the 90s thin brows. Over doing it for too long – it’s hard for them to grow back.” Another couldn’t resist flirting a bit, and wrote: “Are your boyfriend applications open?”
Tilly has had another run-in with body art failures in the past, having made an attempt to fake freckles last year. The trend that went viral involved jabbing ink into the skin using sewing needles, which was supposed to create a six-month freckle effect.
However, Tilly soon regretted her decision after purchasing brown tattoo ink from eBay and giving the technique a go. The outcome was far from pleasant as she was left with harsh, red burn marks on her cheeks and temporary loss of sight.
Fortunately, her physical condition improved over time – and she decided to alert her large following about her ordeal via a revealing video.
After baring her scars on social media, she admitted: “The main response has been that I’m stupid, and, yeah, I agree.”
