A TikTok clip has left the internet in stitches after a major member of the Royal Family turned up out of nowhere.
The video, posted by @thecleanupcompany, shows a team sorting through belongings after a homeowner’s death, narrating the process to their followers.
As they pack away clothes and remove pictures from the walls, the narrator comments on one particular photograph: “Your clothes will be donated to charity, memory boxes chucked in the skip, and pictures taken down. I mean, look how beautiful this lady was when she was younger.”

They were seemingly unaware that the woman in the frame was none other than the late Princess Diana, not the homeowner. The hilarious gaffe has since gone viral, with the original video racking up over 4.4 million views and countless more after being shared across social media platforms.
Dubbed a “superb accidental punchline” by an entertained viewer, the blunder has tickled many online, sparking comments and jokes about the innocent mistake. Some reckon the narrator might not have clocked it was Diana, with one user pointing out: “To be fair people who are under 30 probably have no direct recollection of Diana whatsoever.”
Others took the mix-up in good humour, with one person quipping, “If I’m mistaken for Diana once I’m dead I’d be pretty happy,” while another couldn’t help but laugh: “I was not expecting that lmaooo.”
One TikTok comment candidly read: “That’s princess diana.” and garnered over 18,000 likes. A fellow user gasped: “I can’t breathe. That’s DIANA.”
Some pondered if the accidental inclusion was intentional, while another suggested that the narrator “wasn’t joking”. There were also few who failed to notice Diana’s appearance, as evidenced by a puzzled comment: “I can’t believe family wouldn’t take the family photos.”
