LISTEN: The Trial of Lord Lucan, Episode 1:’The Trial That Never Was’

Episode Overview:

Inspired by the discovery of a report written by a senior detective into the murder of Sandra Rivett and months away from the 50th anniversary of the crime we present The Trial of Lord Lucan.

Co-presenters Caroline Cheetham and Stephen Wright visit the original crime scene in Belgravia, central London, and discuss the importance of the police document.

They also look at the background to the unprecedented, high society murder which scandalised the UK in the 1970s and which has captivated the world, to this day.

The duo also meet two real-life, eminent barristers who will argue the case in the podcasts.

Max Hardy, who is acting as ‘prosecutor’ & Edward Henry KC, who is ‘defending’ Lucan.

Using exclusive, never before seen documents and mesmerising testimony, Caroline Cheetham, Stephen Wright and some of the world’s most revered legal minds take part in a week long audio event to determine Lucan’s fate… and YOU are the jury.

To get involved in this innovative True Crime event, follow the podcast and listen to the evidence each day. You will then be invited to submit your verdict at the end of the week on MailOnline.
