‘I slept with buddy’s fiancé on stag do – I can not cease fascinated with it’

A woman has admitted to a steamy romp with her friend’s husband-to-be during his stag do and said she cannot stop ‘replaying’ it in her head.

The social media user took to Reddit where she admitted the “reckless moment” they shared crossed a line and she has been left wracked with guilt over the betrayal. She is now worried about her friendship and what the cheating will mean for her pal’s relationship.

She wrote: “The guilt hit me hard the morning after the bachelor party. I couldn’t believe I had crossed that line with the groom, who was about to marry my close friend. The memory of our moment together kept replaying in my mind, making me feel worse.

“Every time I thought of the bride, my friend, the weight of what I’d done felt heavier. It was just one reckless moment, but it could ruin their future and our friendship.”

But the confession didn’t win her any favours online, with users on the forum telling her she should “feel the weight of your guilt”. Some even branded her “nasty person” and said her actions would likely spell the end of her friendship with the bride forever.

One user wrote: “Let’s be real, you don’t actually give a f about your friend. If you did you wouldn’t have f**ked her man.” Another agreed: “Reckless moment? You made a choice. He made a choice. Be an adult and deal with it appropriately. You’re likely right, you both have ruined a relationship and friendship.”

A third chimed in: “Well you sure threw yourself on that grenade and saved your girl from a s****y man. But like in a really greasy self centered way so that the grenade kinda blew her leg off too while you got to just eat cake and watch kinda way.”

However, not all comments were negative. One person offered sympathy, writing: “Only you can control your mind and your thoughts, maybe stop thinking for a little while and give yourself a rest, think of it tomorrow.”

But another angry response read: “WTF! Why? Op (original poster) doesn’t deserve a rest from her guilt. She is terrible person and deserves to feel guilty for their terrible actions.”
