Model’s racy pool video mocked by ‘relatable’ mum as she reveals ‘actual’ battle

A mum has been hailed a hero for her ‘relatable’ antics after she hilariously recreated a model’s sultry pool video.

When summer hits, many of us find our social media feeds full of snaps of chiselled abs, bronzed bods and flawless beachy makeup. It’s enough to make anyone feel the pressure and can suck the joy out of the warmer months, especially for those of us who are a bit more self-conscious.

But Instagram comic Celeste Barber is here to help. Her latest video made fans feel “seen” as we approach swimwear season and her followers were quick to praise her content.

The Aussie mum posted a video showing a glam model effortlessly gliding out of a pool, then flipped to her own attempt which was less graceful.

As the original clip then shows the model breezing through her day, Celeste is still battling the edge of the pool, trying to heave herself up. Her caption was “You go ahead babe, I’ll just meet you there.”

Viewers were in stitches, loving Celeste’s unfiltered view on life.

One fan gushed: “I love you. We women (yes, I’m speaking for us all) needed you. More of this. The world is hard enough.”

Another chimed in: “You are amazing! You represent the rest of us so well and make us howl in the process!”

Meanwhile a third commented: “Wow- you just reminded me that this was me last week in Santa Cruz trying to get out of my kayak and pull myself up on the dock… I was thinking please God I hope no one’s watching..”

Other followers chimed in with comments such as: “The struggle is real”, “Thanks for being so unapologetically you”, “Haha! Celeste- I love you so much! Your videos are great and always make me laugh out loud”, and “So relatable”.
