‘My Disneyland journey was ruined – individuals would not cease gazing my curvy physique’

Model Gracie Bon has hit out at people who ‘body-shamed‘ her during a trip to Disneyland.

The curvy model, from Panama, says she was stared and laughed at by fellow visitors throughout the day out.

Gracie, 27, was all set for a magical day with her little siblings at the famous theme park. But her experience turned sour as she became the target of stares and sniggers because of her voluptuous figure.

The bombshell, known for her body positive stance, recounted how she endured people chuckling and snapping pics while she was simply trying to enjoy the attractions. She took to Instagram to call for respect and kindness, sharing her ordeal in a video with her whopping 6.4million followers.

The footage captured Gracie’s day at Disneyland, highlighting the unwelcome attention from onlookers who were seen gawking and laughing in the background.

Overlaying the video, Gracie penned a powerful message, saying: “It’s time to stop body-shaming other people. I was at Disneyland today, I wanted to have fun with my siblings, but our day was ruined by all the people that were making fun of the size of my body.

“The worst part is that they teach their kids to do the same. They kept taking photos of me, they gave me bad looks all the time of just kept laughing at me.

“I know you may think that I am exaggerating and that it’s my fault for being a big girl, but this is literally what God gave me and I have to embrace every single part of me. Even if you have a condition, you look different, you shouldn’t be bullied for the way you look.”

Gracie continued: “I would never talk negatively about someone else’s appearance. Respect is key. This should be a safe space where everyone feels comfortable and I wasn’t doing anything, just existing.

“At the end of the day, I just wanted to have fun like everyone else. If you don’t like something, stop hating and keep it to yourself.”

Her post quickly racked up support, amassing over 75,000 likes as fans flooded in with messages of encouragement.

One reassured her, saying: “Don’t worry at all. You are beautiful just the way God made you! People are just jealous that you are so beautiful! ” Another chimed in: “I’m sorry people can be so cruel and judge so harshly when they have no room to judge. You are beautiful.”

A third supporter urged: “Please stay strong and straighten then crown.” Meanwhile, a fourth encouraged: “Don’t mind them, keep it up.”

Curiosity around Gracie’s figure sparked questions with others though, as some people asked if she’d had a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).

Addressing surgery rumours earlier in January, Gracie told her followers she’s never had facial surgery. She declared in a heartfelt post: “How life changes when you start loving yourself. Happy to have you who have seen all my evolution and also those who criticise and wish to be me. And no, I have never had face surgery.”

The bombshell has however kept quiet so far though on whether she’s had any procedures to enhance her voluptuous figure.

She’s been the subject of numerous rumours regarding cosmetic procedures, including bum lifts, breast implants, lip injections, fillers, and Botox, all aimed at enhancing her looks.

The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) speculations particularly came to light after Gracie complained about her voluptuous rear not fitting into airplane seats. She urged travel companies to increase seat sizes, stating it ‘wasn’t her fault her curvy bum won’t fit in them’.
