A woman has left social media users gobsmacked after revealing the unusual way her best friend discovered her partner was being unfaithful while they were shopping for her engagement ring.
Tallulah Rose, who shares content under the handle @tallulah.roseb, cautioned her followers to “never trust a man” as she divulged the “juicy” details of her friend’s split in a video.
The influencer, hailing from Sydney, Australia, alleged her friend was on the brink of getting engaged to her two-year boyfriend and had picked out the perfect ring.

The lady had chosen a ring costing over £1,500 ($2,000) each, and her boyfriend had agreed to buy it for her. Sounds lovely, doesn’t it? However, things took a turn when his card was declined – not due to lack of funds.
His card was declined because he attempted to purchase a Darry ring, a luxury brand of engagement rings that necessitates buyers to provide ID and sign an agreement vowing to buy only one for their lifetime partner. But he had already purchased one previously.
In the video, which amassed over 85,000 likes, she explained: “My friend has been dating this guy for two years. Two bloody years, okay? They lived together and they’re going to get engaged, right? And she said to him, I want a ring from this company.”
“Like a good husband-to-be, he goes to buy one. I’ve met this guy and like, I think he’s just really bloody stupid and just didn’t grasp the concept of the company. He goes to buy one with her standing next to him. Anyway, the purchase was declined.
“Because it turns out, weirdly, he had already bought one, even though my friend had never received a ring. Turns out he’d bought one like very recently, like a month before.
“He had been seeing ‘the girl he tells you not to worry about for like the past six months’. He’d already bought her one and given her one.”

Tallulah lauded the Darry Ring company for “doing God’s work” before revealing the couple had since split up following the incident. The video left TikTok users gobsmacked, with many women vowing to request a Darry ring from their partners.
One user declared: “Only ever requesting a Darry Ring now,” while another chimed in: “Awesome that the company exists, exposing people like that guy.”
A third wrote: “I want whomever I’m settled down with to get a Darry Ring”. Meanwhile, a fourth quipped: “Gurl, this is why I stay single.” Another person remarked: “It’s crazy he doesn’t know what a Darry Ring is before buying one.”
