Prem cult hero ‘goes full Chris Waddle’ as he unveils ‘unbelievable’ mullet

Premier League cult hero Nicklas Bendtner has had some interesting haircuts down the years – but his latest might just top the lot.

Bendtner, who retired in 2021, was on hand to provide insight into the Danish side as they took on Sweden in a pre-Euro 2024 friendly. The ex-Arsenal man sported an ‘incredible’ mullet that some cheeky fans compared to Chris Waddle.

Waddle famously sported a mullet during his playing career. “Bendtner has gone full Waddle. No-scissors-barred, business-at-the-front-party-at-the-back, eighties throwback, pure unadulterated Waddle,” one fan joked.

“Looks exactly like that photoshop of Shearer with long hair,” a second joked. While a third said: “Controversial opinion. Waddle the only non-Italian footballer who did the mullet well…”

“Truly incredible, no messing around, full business at the front, party at the back, eighties throwback mullet,” a fourth shared. And another added: “Lord Nicklas Bendtner, first of his name and ruler of the football realm!”

The Dane already left fans shocked earlier this season when he showed off his new physique. Bendtner posed topless, unveiled his ripped body, showing off his six pack and huge biceps to his 434k followers.

He looked almost unrecognisable with his lion chest tattoo and long locks. Working out appears to be a big part of the Dane’s life post retirement – and he regularly shares snaps from inside of his local gym.

When he’s not at football games, or the gym, he can be found hosting Danish TV’s equivalent of the MTV classic Punk’D – where he plays pranks on celebrities and members of the public.
