A first-time mother has been crushed after learning her husband was pursuing an extramarital affair a mere 38 days after the birth of their son.
Shockingly, she found him using Reddit seeking another woman while she was back home caring for their baby boy. Completely hurt, the devastated mum took to social media in search of advice, confessing she’s dealing with postpartum depression and unsure how to handle the whole situation.
Sharing on social media, she said: “I gave birth to my beautiful son who is the spitting image of my husband. It was a natural birth, we worked extremely well as a team and by all means, it was a fast birth, especially for a first-time mom.”

The heartbroken mum revealed her husband had made previous attempts to kindle a dalliance with another woman. Although they had resolved that incident, she was bewildered to find him on a local Reddit thread seeking a lady “desiring to roleplay as a dad [sexually]” merely the previous day.

Making matters worse, he posted his illicit ad on her birthday, thus adding more salt to her emotional wounds.
Continuing her ordeal, she said: “Yesterday was my birthday. I have had a gut feeling for some time now that something is going on. By all means, I snapped back after pregnancy, and while my tummy is a bit darker with some stretch marks, literally only around my belly button piercings, I thought I looked great for just having had a baby!”
“Yesterday we ‘broke the seal’ in a sense much to my husband’s pleasure. I wanted to wait longer to ensure my stitches were healed but with some examination, I figured it would be OK. Also, I was sure he was just about to bust at the seams. Prior to this, we had begun to explore each other in different ways which was going well.
“He messaged people on my birthday to set up hookups after I gave him my body on my birthday after he made a negative comment about my belly button stretch marks and suggested I get cosmetic surgery for it.”
In a desperate call for advice, she confessed: “This is my last straw. I don’t even know what to do.”

One user responded by saying: “Cheated in the past, one month postpartum, cheating again this time on your birthday with someone seeking out a dad to cheat on their wife. There is absolutely no redeeming this. Divorce him.”
Another user chimed in: “You have to end it. This man will never be faithful to you. This man will never appreciate you. He will always drag you down and only care about himself. You could look like Beyonce and have sex with him 24/7 and he would still be looking for his next hook-up. I’m so sorry, I know he’s the father of your baby but he’s for the streets.”
One user weighed in, saying: “Your stitches may have looked fine but there is a large wound in your uterus that leaves you open to infection, and your cervix is not yet closed, which is why care providers want you to wait six weeks postpartum before putting anything in your vagina. If your husband is whoring around then that certainly increases the risk.”
