Marcus Rashford has been spotted dancing at an exclusive beach bar restaurant in Cannes while his England teammates prepare for the Euros after he missed out on a place in the squad.
Onlookers said the 26-year-old dined out at the Baoli restaurant with up to 12 friends where they claim he spent around £3,700 on drinks and food on Saturday.
The trendy, beachfront bar is the nightclub among the elite with it said to be a favourite spot for Eva Mendes, Jay Z and U2 frontman Bono.
Diners said the £325,000-a-week star seemingly wasn’t bothered by Gareth Southgate‘s snub as he was seen laughing and dancing for three hours before he left and headed to the club at the same venue at 1am.
A fellow diner said he recognised Rashford’s luxury Richard Mille watch.

He said: ‘When I was him I was like “holy s**t that is Marcus Rashford”.
‘As soon as I saw him put his hand up and I saw the watch and chain I knew it was him.
‘Not making the England squad seemed not to bother him.
‘Throughout the night he was moving around the restaurant, with the assistance of management and a bodyguard I think.’
The Manchester United winger did not even make the provisional 33-man squad for Euro 2024 in Germany when it was announced in May, with uncapped Jarrad Branthwaite, Curtis Jones, Jarell Quansah and Adam Wharton being included instead.
Rashford has endured a trying campaign in 2023-24 for Erik ten Hag’s side, with only seven goals and two assists in the Premier League, after a hugely impressive 2022-23.
That disappointing campaign saw him not even make the Three Lions’ training camp squad ahead of the European Championship this summer.
Rashford took to Instagram immediately following the announcement where he simply said: ‘Wishing Gareth and the boys all the best for the up and coming tournament.’

Southgate, who has handed the 26-year-old 57 of his 60 international caps, revealed that the decision was a tough one but insisted Rashford’s omission was solely down to his performances on the pitch.
‘These are of course difficult calls,’ The England manager said. ‘We’re talking about players who are very good and who have been an important part of what we’ve done over a number of years.
‘With Marcus I just feel that players in that area of the pitch have had better seasons, it’s as simple as that.’
Rashford’s antics off the pitch have been brought into question too with his infamous tequila bender in Belfast resulting in him being axed from Man United’s squad for their FA Cup tie with Newport County.
Rashford, who has been lauded in recent years for his charity work and even received an MBE for his efforts to battle food poverty, is alleged to have downed shots of tequila during a 12-hour boozy trip to the Northern Irish capital in January.
The trip was made to visit his friend and former Untied youngster Ro-Shaun Williams, who had just signed for Larne FC.
A waitress, who claims she was invited out by the England star, said at the end of the night he was so drunk that he dropped wads of cash in front of her in his five-star hotel room, moments before she was forced to put him to bed after he passed out.
Speaking to The Sun, Sarah Adair claimed Rashford, who is reportedly paid £325,000 a week, invited her on the ‘weird’ night out in which she said he was ‘clearly on a mission to get drunk’.

The footballer, who was pictured having dinner with his childhood sweetheart fiance Lucia Loi in November months after they split, was also allegedly seen arguing with a French woman at a nightclub.
In chaotic scenes, the ace chucked the brunette’s clothes into the corridor after she accused him of cheating on her.
Shocked guests at the five-star hotel in Northern Ireland said they were woken by the woman raging as Rashford ordered her out of their room.
Rashford’s mystery companion accused him of kissing another woman at a nightclub earlier in the evening.
Witnesses told MailOnline she picked up her belongings from the corridor floor and marched down to reception and demanded a separate room from the Premier League star.
