Extreme channel finds UK Freeview house and launches with enormous unique

The Extreme Channel has launched on Freeview TV across the UK, bringing its adrenaline-fueled content into more than 30 million homes on Freeview Channel 295.

The original Extreme Channel has been the home of the best extreme content from around the world for almost 25 years, bringing audiences around the globe the best mix of heart-stopping content 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Now, fans to enjoy the channel for free for the first time in the UK.

Extreme Channel offers viewers a broad spectrum of exclusive programming across extreme sports and lifestyle, from competitive winter sports to surfing, underwater and marine life exploration to MMA and professional wrestling.

The channel’s launch coincides with this new major programming partnership with who will be airing their biggest monthly events on the channel, featuring huge pro wrestling stars including Jon Moxley, Zack Sabre Jr. and Hiroshi Tanahashi exclusively on UK television.



The channel’s new home is on Freeview

Dominion takes place from its traditional home in the shadows of the famous Osaka Castle. Six championships as well as the Best of the Super Jr. trophy are all at stake on a loaded night! NJPW’s ‘Dominion’ 2024 will be broadcast tonight at 8pm.

Also showing on the channel is Extreme Fighting Championship. Founded in 2009 and with 120 athletes under contract, EFC is Africa’s leading mixed martial arts promotion, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. EFC events are broadcast in more than 120 countries, viewed in over 600 million homes worldwide and their 10 annual events will be exclusively broadcast on EXTREME in the UK just days after the live event.

The next EFC event, ‘114’, will be broadcast on Extreme on June 15 at 6pm. Past episodes and special events will broadcast at 7pm on Saturdays and 9pm on Mondays.
