Danish followers show crude flag forward of Euros conflict – leaving followers in stitches

Danish fans have proudly displayed a crude flag declaring they “love a**” ahead of their Euro 2024 clash with Slovenia.

The Dane’s took over the streets of Stuttgart before their Euro 2024 opener on Sunday afternoon. Christian Eriksen was on hand to fire the Dane’s into the lead – three years after he suffered a cardiac arrest in the same competition.

However, Denmark were then shocked in the 77th minute when full-back Erik Janža popped up to fire the Eastern Europeans level. But that didn’t damped the Danish mood as they partied into the night in the German city.

And images of the crude flag started to go viral on social media, with one posting: “Denmark fans with the most random flag of the tournament so far…” while a second joked: “Men of culture!” Leading a third to reply: “What the Euros is all about!”

“So we’re all Danish,” a fourth said. And another added: “The universal language…”

England are up next for Denmark, who are looking to bounce back from the disappointing result. “We have lost a few points, but we have to keep our heads up,” admitted Danish coach Kasper Hjulmand.

“We are probably one win away from progressing in the tournament, and we have to keep that in mind. Now we have two exciting matches, and we have to keep our spirits and energy up, because there is still a lot to play for.”

He added: “We had to keep playing with initiative, but we lost something in our game. Maybe we got too nervous!”
