Rory McIlroy places his wedding ceremony ring on, reunites with spouse Erica Stoll

Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll put on a united front while enjoying a day out with their three-year-old daughter, Poppy.

The golf star was spotted in Juno Beach, Florida, with his wife and their adorable mini-me on Monday, less than 24 hours after his humiliating collapse across the closing holes of the US Open at Pinehurst.

The trio reunited for what may have been a belated Father’s Day celebration at Loggerhead Marinelife Center near their sprawling, $22million Jupiter home.

Both McIlroy and Stoll wore their wedding rings for the outing, which came a few days after the Northern Irishman dramatically scrapped plans to divorce his wife of seven years – as exclusively revealed by DailyMail.com.

The blonde beauty cut a casual figure in a beige tee, jeans and flip flops, while the former world number one looked equally laid back in a black shirt, grey shorts and a baseball cap.

Just last week, the golfer dramatically scrapped plans to divorce his wife of seven years

It came less than one month after she was served divorce papers in their Florida home

They smiled at Poppy, who walked in between them, with McIlroy sweetly grabbing her hand as they headed towards their car.

It marked the first sighting of McIlroy since he suffered a heartbreaking loss amid his quest to secure a fifth major title.

Thirteen years after winning his first US Open and maiden major at Congressional – McIlroy looked set to finally get back in the winner’s circle when he led by two shots with five holes to play.

However, he astonishingly missed from two feet and six inches for par on the 16th and less than four feet on the 18th, allowing Bryson DeChambeau to claim his second US Open title on an extraordinary final day in North Carolina.

It’s been a rocky few weeks for McIlroy, who filed to end his marriage last month, serving Stoll with divorce papers in their family home.

However, less than a month later, he made a shock u-turn amid reports the pair held secret meetings in an attempt to salvage their marriage.

‘There have been rumors about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate. Responding to each rumor is a fool’s game,’ McIlroy told The Guardian last week.

‘Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning,’ he added.

According to Irish outlet RSVP Live, McIlroy and Stoll secretly met at their Florida mansion every weekend for four weeks for showdown talks.

They cite a source who claims the meetings were initially focused on how they would co-parent their daughter Poppy, 3, but the conversations eventually led to them reuniting.

The former world number one, whose career earnings on the PGA Tour total nearly $87million, first met New York state native Erica during the 2012 Ryder Cup while she was working for the PGA of America.

They began dating several months after he abruptly called off his engagement with tennis star Caroline Wozniacki in 2014.
