Blokes’s beer hack provides excellent pour with no froth – not everybody’s satisfied

A beer lover has revealed a clever tip for pouring the perfect pint, guaranteeing minimal froth every single time – and it’s not what you’d expect.

The man, known as creativeexplained on TikTok, told fellow users to bin their usual methods of tilting or slowing the pour and instead adopt his foolproof technique for no spills. He reckons you’ve been doing it all wrong and suggests you place your glass over the can and flip it before slowly easing the can away, releasing the drink slowly.

Since its release on June 15, the video has clocked up thousands of likes. Many people have been left baffled at how simple yet effective the trick is.

Creativeexplained told viewers: “When you pour a beer or a soda into a glass, don’t do this… or this,” demonstrating more usual pours such as tipping the drink directly into the glass or tilting the cup at a 45-degree angle.

“Just put the glass over the can and flip it upside down. Then slowly pull up the can. Boom. Done.” The man flaunted his flawless method with a couple more beers to prove there was “no spill” and definitely “no loss of bubbles”.

However, some users spotted a key flaw in the method, while others reckon a frothy head is half the charm of a good brew. One person aid: “Uhm no. The germs from that can everyone put their fingers on… no.”

Another agreed: “And with it all the dirt and bacteria from the outside of the can. HORRIBLE suggestion.”

Elsewhere someone else pointed out the trouble with not having any foam in the cup. They wrote: “Actually no, you WANT the beer to foam in the glass, otherwise it will foam inside your stomach and you’ll feel sick.”

Not everyone was so scathing, however. One person wrote: “Cleanest way to do it baby!” while another agreed: “Good tip! Same with the bottle, I guess? Will try this weekend.”
