Taylor Swift Eras tour journey chaos sees followers ‘vomiting’ on delayed trains

Taylor Swift‘s concert sparked travel chaos last night with fans ‘vomiting’ and ‘screaming’ on trains, according to witnesses.

The American singer has been in London on the latest leg of her Eras tour, which is currently making its way across the UK. But while fans were delighted by the show, their glee quickly dissipated when it came time to go home.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), fan Ben Travis described the scenes he saw on the tube in the early hours of Sunday (June 23) morning as ‘bleak’. He wrote: “The bleakest of post-Taylor Swift scenes. Queued nearly two hours to get out, been trapped on a tube for 30 mins between Wembley and Finchley Road.

“Now someone has thrown up and everyone’s gipping [wretching]. Plus a daddy long legs has started flying around and people are screaming. Cursed.”

In a photo accompanying the post, people can be seen sitting on the floor as they wait for the train to move. There also appeared to be very little space to move on the jam-packed tube carriage.

Ben went onto say that the train eventually started moving, and said “everyone cheered” when it did. Some people also shared their own thoughts and experiences.

One person offered advice, posting: “Always avoid Wembley Way, we walked straight to Park by going around past Tesco/McD’s.”

Another commented: “Please don’t let a puke chain commence.” One more observer chipped in: “This is like a wild modern renaissance painting.”

Meanwhile, another woman who attended the show told us the experience was “awful”. Recalling her long journey home, the 27-year-old said: “I think it took about an hour to queue up and get to Wembley Central, which is expected I guess, but still very, very long.

“We decided to go to the stop before Wembley on the tube to get a seat and then, when we got on the tube to go to Baker Street, we were made to wait about 30 mins in Wembley and then another 30 mins of waiting before even reaching Finchley Road just on the tracks waiting for an ‘uncommunicative train’.”

TfL has been contacted for comment.

Over the weekend, Taylor played two performances at Wembley Arena. The first was attended by Prince William alongside his children.

Numerous celebs, including her boyfriend Travis Kelce and friend Cara Delevingne, were also part of the star-studded crowd.

Prince William, along with his young ones, George and Charlotte, demonstrated their fandom as they posed for a selfie with the pop sensation last Friday evening. The “Shake It Off” singer, 34, posted a birthday greeting for the Prince on her Instagram account, featuring a selfie that included him, his kids, and Travis.

She captioned it: “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” followed by emojis of an American flag and a Union Jack.
