This is the moment police escorted a ‘drunk’ passenger off a flight to Dalaman after having to do a U-turn on the runway at Manchester airport.
Passengers on the flight on June 22 watched on as Jet2 staff had to abandon take off and return to the gate where police removed the allegedly drunk man from the plane.
Video footage posted on social media shows three police officers inside the cabin.
The passenger, who sported black sunglasses and a neck pillow, was originally sat down and stood up as the policeman asked him: ‘Have you got any cabin bags?’
A flight attendant responded: ‘Yes, I’ll get them out for you in a second.’
The officer looked at the man about to be ejected from the flight and said: ‘We might be needing them.’
As the police and flight attendant headed to get the man’s cabin baggage, he turned to face the disgruntled passengers and appeared to hold up his hands.

The man, pictured, turned to face the disgruntled passengers and appeared to hold up his hands and apologised
The man said: ‘Sorry, everyone, sorry.’
However, his apology was not welcomed by everyone and one person can be heard saying, ‘You’re not sorry at all mate.’
The man quickly replied: ‘I am sorry, I am.’
A woman who appeared to be with the holidaymaker stood up and turned to accompany him off the flight, which was then supposedly delayed by 24 hours according to social media.
Video footage of the flight from Manchester to Alicante showed a police officer in black uniform suddenly appear on the plane to the collective gasps of dozens of holidaymakers.

A member of the cabin crew pointed out the offender and the male passenger stood up, put his rucksack on his back and walked off the plane.
Another then appeared to get his bag from the overhead compartment and follow him off as people start speculating about the reasons for the pair’s ejection.
A spokesperson from Ryanair previously said: ‘This flight from Manchester to Alicante (5 Apr) diverted to Barcelona due a disruptive passenger onboard.
‘The passenger was removed, and this flight continued to Alicante.’
Two other passengers were escorted off an easyJet flight last month by Sussex Police on a flight from Tenerife South to London Gatwick.
Witnesses claimed the pair were ‘rowdy’ throughout the flight after boozing on duty-free vodka.
A spokesperson for easyJet previously confirmed officers boarded the plane upon landing back in the UK due to disruptive people on board.
They added: ‘easyJet’s cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.
‘Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate disruptive behaviour onboard. The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet’s highest priority.’

In a separate occasion, an unruly passenger on a flight from Manchester to Turkey on April 9 caused chaos on board.
The SunExpress flight was destined for Dalaman, but circled over Serbia and ultimately landed in the capital Belgrade following the mid-flight disturbance.
Footage captured by shocked customers showed how one man appeared to yell at another passenger, pointing his finger and shouting expletives.
A woman can be heard barking back and the pair went back and forth, with the volume and aggression increasing as other passengers tried in vain to calm the situation.
It is unclear to what extent the argument escalated but another clip filmed once the plane was on the tarmac in Belgrade showed how police burst into the cabin to haul one of the passengers away.
A struggle ensued and footage shows how the police officers bundled the unruly passenger to the floor before dragging them out of the cabin door.
A spokesperson for easyJet confirmed that officers did have to meet the plane due to disruptive people on board
SunExpress previously said: ‘Our flight XQ505, which was scheduled from Manchester to Dalaman on April 9, had to divert to Belgrade due to an unruly passenger.
‘Upon arrival, the passenger was removed from the aircraft by local police and the aircraft continued to Dalaman after the passenger’s disembarkation.
‘The safety and security of our passengers and crew is of the highest priority to SunExpress.’
