Prince Harry‘s possible reconciliation with the Royal Family is in doubt with one royal commentator sharing her scepticism.
Harry and William are believed, according to some reports, to have fallen out as early as 2018 and Harry has found himself at the centre of a series of royal snubs over the years – the most recent being his absence from June’s Trooping the Colour invite list.
Royal experts have now suggested that it casts a shadow over his attempts to end his royal feud, reports The Mirror.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond didn’t hold back when it came to sharing her thoughts on the matter. She said: “If Harry had really wanted to confront his family and patch things up, he would surely have allotted more time to his recent visits so that his father at least could make arrangements to see him.”

She also weighed in on the prospect of Prince William reaching out, telling OK! magazine: “I don’t think there’s any chance of William wanting to do so, particularly with all he has on his plate right now. So, I’ll believe this when I see it, but it will be lovely if he could indeed spend some time, perhaps at Balmoral, during the summer and make peace with his father.”
Jennie’s remarks follow the claim that footage of the King’s official birthday celebration from his US residence left Prince Harry feeling “upset and emotional” after viewing scenes featuring his late mother, Princess Diana, reports OK!
A source told Closer magazine: “He can’t believe it’s come to this, and he’s now saying he’s going to fly over and force them to face him. He’s still a prince, after all; they’re still his family, and whether they like it or not, he’s refusing to just be cast aside. He continues to be heartbroken and confused by the way he’s being treated by the royals. It’s as though he doesn’t exist anymore.”
An individual with knowledge of the situation has disclosed that Harry is struggling immensely with the inability to “bond” with his once “beloved” sister-in-law Kate Middleton. The source added: “He’s not getting updates on his father or Kate’s health, and even basic communications are pretty well non-existent.”
