Wandsworth inmate who ‘had romp with feminine jail guard caught on vid’ unmasked

The prisoner filmed allegedly having a romp with a female prison guard at HMP Wandsworth has been unmasked as a high-end crook.

On Saturday, a video clip went viral on social media showing a woman appearing to have sex with a prisoner at HMP Wandsworth in London.

The Met Police confirmed that an investigation was underway, and a spokesperson told the Daily Star: “A police investigation was launched on 28 June after officers were made aware of a video allegedly filmed inside HMP Wandsworth.

The woman was later arrested and named as Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, and she appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday, July 1). It has now been reported that the man she was allegedly having a romp with was Linton Weirich.

He was jailed in April this year for burglary after stealing £65,000 worth of goods from a safe in a luxury flat in Kensington. The raid took place in March 2022, where he took jewellery, handbags, belts, a suitcase and a laptop.

The 36-year-old is thought to have a partner, who is said to be seven months pregnant – while De Sousa Abreu is married.

Speaking to Mail Online, A source said: “This is the last thing she needs in her condition, it’s extremely upsetting. This stupid video has affected her health, she was hospitalised at the weekend through stress. She fears it will bring on premature labour.”

Linda De Sousa Abreu has been charged with misconduct in public office by “engaging in a sexual act with a prisoner in a prison cell”. She was granted conditional bail, and will appear again in court – this time at Isleworth Crown Court – for a plea and case management hearing on July 29.
