Uri Geller takes credit score for Palmer objective – however followers ask ‘the place have been magic powers’

Notorious spoon bender Uri Geller once again tried to take credit for an England goal.

Fans though were quick to ask the self-proclaimed mystifier ‘where were you when we needed you.’

Israeli-Brit Geller had posted a video before Ollie Watkins’ winning goal in the Euro 2024 semi-final against the Netherlands, suggesting that he had predicted the crucial moment.

The 77-year-old was up to his old tricks when he seemed to foresee Cole Palmer’s 73rd minute equaliser, leaving skeptics to wonder whether the video was indeed live.

But after Mikel Oyarzabal late winning for Spain, sealing a 2-1 victory in Berlin, some of his fans were asking where his powers are when England really needed them.

One said: “Where were your magic powers when we needed them?”

A second added: “Where is your positive energy? Stop your bulls***.” A third cruelly wrote: “Stick to bending spoons you muppet.”

Seconds before Palmer’s equaliser, Geller was seemingly filming himself saying ‘yes, yes, yes’ before claiming: “I did it again,” after the Chelsea man’s goal.

He added: “You did it. All of you touched the ball, we’re going to score another one now.”

Unfortunately the next goal turned out to be Spanish which ended up being the wining goal.

Uri, who was born in Israel, has a long history with the England national team.

At Euro 96 Geller claims he helped the Three Lions beat Scotland.

He insists he moved the ball off the penalty spot before Scotland’s Gary McAllister missed from 12 yards – apparently he was hovering over Wembley in a helicopter.
