King Charles and Queen Camilla relied on some familiar faces to act as Pages of Honour at the State Opening of Parliament today.
The monarch, 75, addressed MPs and peers in the House of Lords in London this morning for the first time since Labour‘s landslide election win.
He was joined by wife Queen Camilla – who is celebrating her 77th birthday today – and several of his trusted Pages of Honours for the historic occasion.
Several Pages of Honour who helped arranged the King’s robes as he sat on his throne performed the same role at the Coronation and last year’s State of Opening of Parliament too.
Wearing traditional uniforms, schoolboys William Sackville, Ralph Tollemache, Alfred Wellesley, Guy Tryon, William Keswick and Arthur Elliot all served as pages to King Charles and Queen Camilla today.

1. Ralph Tollemache
One of King Charles’ Pages of Honour was Ralph Tollemache, son of British banker and aristocrat The Honourable Edward Tollemache and Sophie Tollemache.
Edward, the heir apparent of the 5th Baron Tollemache, is a godson of the King and was a Page of Honour to Queen Elizabeth.
Ralph has a brother, Theo James Tollemache, and a sister, Stella Isabel Dinah Tollemache. The family live at Helmingham Hall in Suffolk, which has belonged to the family for 500 years.
Edward and Sophie wed on 3 February 2007 at St Columba’s Church in Knightsbridge. The then Prince of Wales was one of the guests.
2. William Sackville
William Sackville made his debut as one of King Charles’ Pages of Honour this morning.
The youngster is the grandson of the 11th Earl De La Warr, who he inherited the name William from.

3. Guy Tryon
Ten-year-old Guy Tryon made his debut as a Page of Honour on Garter Day this year, when he appeared at Windsor Castle alongside the King and Queen for the annual ceremony.
Guy is the son of Lord Charles Tryon, who is King Charles’s Godson.
Interestingly, Lord Tryon’s late mother was Dale Tryon, an Australian socialite who was nicknamed ‘Kanga’ by King Charles in their younger years.
The Mail’s Ephraim Hardcastle reported last month that Dale Tryon was a love rival of Camilla for Charles’s affections when he was still married to Princess Diana.
It was often said that Baroness Tryon was one of the only women who understood a young Charles.
Sadly Dale died in 1997 at the age of 47 – just three months after Princess Diana’s tragic death. It was said at the time that her death was a bitter blow to Charles, who was also grieving for the mother of his children at the time.
In this portrait taken after the Coronation, the King and Queen are joined by (pictured, left to right) Ralph Tollemache, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Nicholas Barclay, Prince George, the Marchioness of Lansdowne, the Queen’s sister Annabel Elliot, the Queen’s grandson Freddy Parker Bowles, the Queen’s great-nephew Arthur Elliot, and the Queen’s grandsons Gus Lopes and Louis Lopes
4. Arthur Elliot
Arthur Elliot, the eleven-year-old great-nephew of Queen Camilla, was one of the King’s Pages of Honour.
Arthur is the son of businessman and politician Ben Elliot – whose mother, interior designer and antiques dealer Annabel Elliot, is Queen Camilla’s sister.
As attendant to the Queen, Annabel, 75, had a highly visible role in the Coronation of King Charles in 2023.
Ben, 48, is the founder of luxury global concierge service Quintessentially and was co-chairman of the Conservative Party from July 2019 to September 2022.
In Tattler’s 2021 profile of Ben, a source described him as an ‘epic dad’ to Arthur and his nine-year-old brother Ike.
5. Alfred Wellesley

Alfred Wellesley is the son of former model Jemma Kidd and her ex-husband Arthur Wellesley, Earl of Mornington.
The youngster – who has inherited his mother’s bright blonde hair and is one of three siblings – was dressed in a traditional Pages of Honour uniform for today’s proceedings.
Alfred’s mother Jemma gave up her career as a model and beauty entrepreneur to marry the Earl in 2005.
The couple announced their separation in August 2020 – with a source telling the Mail: ‘They decided to separate during lockdown – a time during which they were barely speaking to each other.’
6. William Keswick
The Pages of Honour included William Keswick, grandson of Lady Sarah Keswick.
The youngster was called upon to help with the State Opening of Parliament last October.
William was joined by his grandmother Lady Sarah Keswick, who served as Queen Camilla’s companion today.
7. The Marchioness of Lansdowne
Fiona Petty-Fitzmaurice, Marchioness of Lansdowne took part in the Coronation ceremony alongside the Queen’s sister, Annabel Elliot
Fiona Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice, Marchioness of Lansdowne, is one of Queen Camilla’s dearest friends and one of the ‘Queen’s Companions’ – previously known as ladies-in-waiting.
Fiona, 69, married Charles Petty- Fitzmaurice, Earl of Shelburne, in 1987, becoming the Countess of Shelburne.
When her husband inherited his father’s titles in 1999, Fiona became Marchioness of Lansdowne.
In her professional life as an interior designer, she is known as Fiona Shelburne.
Alongside the Queen’s sister Annabel Elliot, Fiona played a pivotal role in the Coronation of King Charles III in May 2023.
Walking behind Queen Camilla, she was seen lifting her ceremonial robe.
8. Lady Sarah Keswick

Lady Sarah Keswick is a close friend of Queen Camilla and one of the ‘Queen’s Companions’.
Queen Camilla replaced the centuries-old position of ladies-in-waiting with that of the ‘Queen’s Companions’ after Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.
All close friends of the Queen, the Companions provide support with official duties.
Lady Sarah was married to merchant and banker Sir Chippendale ‘Chips’ Keswick, who died in April of this year at the age of 84.
It was at Lady Sarah’s 50th birthday party, held at the Ritz in 1995, that the then Prince of Wales first appeared in public with Camilla, shortly after her divorce from Andrew Parker Bowles.
Camilla regularly stayed at the Keswicks’ Sutherland estate, sometimes joined by Charles.
