This is the moment Melania Trump exposed her true feelings as she attended the Republican National Convention with her husband, Donald Trump.
The former President, 78, accepted the GOP nomination at the event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Thursday (July 18) for the third consecutive time. It came just five days after he avoided an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally when he was hit in the ear by a bullet.
The convention was attended by the likes of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan and rock star Kid Rock. But it was Melania’s apparent lack of enthusiasm for Kid Rock’s performance which sparked debate online.

A clip shared on X (formerly Twitter) captured the moment, prompting one user to post: “Melania Trump trying not to laugh at Kid Rock is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.”
Another added: “He’s an acquired taste.” Someone else echoed the sentiment, adding: “It is difficult not to laugh at him, I understand her struggle.”
A third agreed: “I don’t blame her,” while another said they found the situation “so funny.”
WWE star Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Gene Bollea, also made waves at the convention as he ripped off his shirt on stage. He went on to dub Trump a “hero” and condemn his would-be killer.
“What happened last week… when they took a shot at my hero… They tried to kill the greatest president of the United States! ” he exclaimed. “Enough was enough!”
Hogan then called for “Trump-o-mania [to] make America great again.”
The assassination attempt on the former President came last week, when five bullets were fired into a crowd gathered at a rally. The Republican nominee survived the incident with a pierced ear while two additional people were injured.
Firefighter Corey Comperatore died during the attack. The perpetrator, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, was also shot dead.
Following the ordeal, Trump took to social media to describe what happened. “I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin,” he said.
“Much bleeding took place.”
