On Palace Confidential this week:
The controversy surrounding an old interview given by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is a case of trying to ‘rewrite history’ – that’s according to the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden.
After senior BBC journalist Mishal Husain questioned Meghan Markle’s claims that an engagement interview was ‘orchestrated reality show’, Eden says that not only should we not let Markle change the narrative, but we should also look at other discrepancies in the chat and whether the Palace should have been more wary of Harry’s fiancée.
Plus the panel look at claims that Vice President Kamala Harris could offer Meghan a job in her new administration IF she wins the election. Richard Eden believes it would do ‘terminal damage to Anglo-American relations’ while The Mail on Sunday’s Natasha Livingstone says it would be a ‘real headache’ for the ‘non-political’ British Royal Family.
