Tom Cruise has been everywhere this summer — Wembley for Taylor Swift, Glastonbury for Coldplay, Wimbledon for the tennis and Paris for the Olympics.
But there were no festival falafels, or Centre Court strawberries and cream — or even champagne on the Champs Elysees — for the Mission: Impossible star.
The Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff reports that the 62-year-old icon asks for steamed white fish and veg – sans sauce, oil and butter – wherever he goes.
Alcohol is also a no-no.
The film star has said the secret of his success is that he works harder than anyone else — and that includes rising at 5.30am to go to the gym.
Tom Cruise’s very strict diet revealed with the action star eating the same meal everywhere he goes as part of a ‘summer health kick’ (pictured in May)
It was previously revealed that instead of three main meals a day, the star opts instead for 15 small snacks.
His decision to snack fits better with his busy lifestyle, with Tom opting for fruit which helps reduce any anxiety in comparison to crisps or chocolate.
In 2020 it was revealed he was consuming as little as 1200 calories a day as part of a David Beckham devised diet plan.
Avoiding sugary snacks, processed food, and carbohydrates, Tom favours grilled foods and low-temperature prepared foods cooked for him by his personal chef.
Low temperature cooking is reportedly better for you than high-temperature cooking which has been associated with accelerated aging and chronic tissue inflammation.
Tom will opt for foods like salmon dark chocolate, raw oats, blueberries, ginger, beets, broccoli, olive oil, tomatoes, and spinach.
He also makes sure to incorporate antioxidant-rich foods like fruits, nuts, and vegetables that are also anti-inflammatory in nature and supplements his diet with added vitamins and minerals.
Singer Sting also credits his amazing shape to his macrobiotic diet which consists of a lot of vegetables and grains, and aims to avoid toxins and processed food that contain preservatives.

So devoted is the singer to his diet that he reportedly keeps his own personal chef on tour with him in order to keep it up while he is away from home.
Back in 2015, Tom’s Mission Impossible co-star Simon Pegg revealed a little about the star’s healthy eating habits.
He told E!: ‘Tom is disciplined to a T. It’s amazing.’
The comedian added that Tom offered his chef’s services on the set of the fifth installment, explaining: ‘it wasn’t like boring rabbit food or a protein shake.
‘It was like great stews and these lovely little dates filled with peanut butter and sprinkled with coconut for snacks, and these little balls of truffle that were great.’
Simon also debunked rumours that the movie star made the cast follow his strict diet.
The Hot Fuzz star explained: ‘He was like, “Here: If you want to do this thing that I do, do it, too.” It was all him. It was given to us by him.’
Tom has maintained the figure that sent fans wild when he burst onto the showbiz scene in 1986 with his breakout role in Top Gun (pictured)
