Lofty ‘7ft’ grownup star towers over Olympic gymnasts as Simone Biles seems to be tiny

A “7ft” giantess has towered over 4ft 8ins Simone Biles in a viral video as if being taller than the Olympic gold gymnast is a difficult feat.

Marie Temara, who rakes in thousands every month thanks to her height, created yet another entertaining reel for her Instagram followers – this time focusing on the Olympics and, of course, how lanky she really is.

The 28-year-old brunette beauty from Florida, who told the Daily Star she has basketball players in her DMs, captioned her latest video “Comparing my height to Team USA gymnasts” – and first up was the teeny tiny Simone Biles.

There’s lots of quality news coming out of the US.

Standing quite far off 5ft, Simone is probably always the shortest person in the room and takes second place for the smallest-ever Olympic gymnast – with retired American gymnast Kerri Strug, who competed at the 1996 Olympics, nearly two inches shorter (4ft 6.2ins) than Simone.

Simone has also gone viral for pictures standing with other celebs who in some cases seem to be more than double her size – the most famous one being of her and ex-American basketball player Shaquille ‘Shaq’ O’Neal.

While Marie is still a way off Shaq’s momentous 7ft 1ins height – as she actually only stands at a mere 6ft 3ins – it still means there’s a massive 19 inches difference between herself and Simone. And it really does show.

Marie then compares herself next to 5ft Sunisa Lee, the 2024 Olympic all-around and uneven bars bronze medallist; 4ft 11 Jordan Chiles who took bronze in floor after appeal and 5ft 2 Jade Carey who claimed bronze in vaults after reportedly “not even warming up”.

The huge disparity in height is abundantly clear as Marie pretends to get caught on her ceiling fan because of her lofty length… with her fans leaping straight into the comments for their say.

“For your height, you should represent the USA in basketball or volleyball at the Olympics,” wrote one person, while another added: “Seems like all those Olympic gymnastics girls are tiny.”

Others were quick to criticise the star who openly over-exaggerates her height because she wants to “cos play as a seven-foot tall girl”.

“Marie, first of all, you didn’t do anything to earn your size let’s be honest,” wrote one hater. “Second, so what? Why do you think being tall entitles to anything? Third, I’d have more respect for you as a person if you didn’t lie about your height, too.”

While Marie has always been honest about her height while billing herself at 7ft tall, another added: “You aren’t 7ft tall stop the [cap]”. One person concluded: “You should be competing at the Olympics”.

Meanwhile, Marie recently revealed just how much she eats in a day… and it’s safe to say the best of us would have trouble keeping all that food down.

She made a video documenting “what I eat in a day as a 7ft girl on a cruise ship”. Starting off with the most important meal of the day, Marie manages to polish off two waffles, some bread, avocado toast, one pancake, an omelette, one hash brown and a salmon bagel – rinsing it down with one chocolate milk, two apple juices and some water.

The video then cuts to Marie enjoying a coffee and cookie because she was “still hungry” after her morning feast, before she then gets ready for the day by changing into a cute white top, skirt and heels. Read the full story here.
