Irritating Kim Jong Un blasts flooded North Koreans with ‘sickening sounds’

North Koreans left homeless from flooding are being forced to listen to pro-regime propaganda all day.

Devastating flooding in North Korea has left thousands homeless and caused an unknown number of casualties in North Korea. Some South Korean media claim that damage is likely worse than what state media have acknowledged, and that the death toll could be more than 1,000.

People are said to be complaining of “intense fatigue” as the trucks start blaring out the messages from 6am, a source said.

They said the incessant broadcasts, described as “sickening sounds,” plague the citizens from dawn to dusk.

A source in North Korea told the publication propaganda teams have been “fully mobilised” and are carrying out activities in flood-stricken border regions along the Yalu River, as well as non-affected areas.

The source said: “In Sinuiju now, loudspeaker trucks roam the streets from am blasting propaganda about the Supreme Leader’s history of love, and the voice of the broadcasters resound twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon, calling on people to come together for recovery efforts in the flood-stricken regions.”

Kim has been visiting areas affected by the record breaking heavy rains in his dark green bulletproof train.

During his trip, Mr Kim said North Korea will not seek outside help following offers of aid from Russia and China.

He said it would take between two and three months to rebuild the flood-hit areas.
