The Paris Olympics 2024 are well and truly over, but the celebrity outfits will no doubt serve as style inspiration to the public for some time.
A host of public figures from across the globe travelled to the City of Love over the summer to observe the games.
And in true celebrity style, they came dressed to the nines, with A-Listers displaying their style credentials while supporting their country.
Public figures mixed patriotism with their authentic style, from Snoop Dogg‘s America-themed tracksuit paired with a Kangol flat cap to Princess Anne‘s trademark sunglasses and her £23 Team GB bucket hat.
Here, FEMAIL explores the celebrity style highlights from the Paris Olympic Games 2024.
In addition to the sporting action, the Paris Olympics was full of inspirational fashion looks from public figures, including Princess Anne (pictured)
When thinking of a royal fashion icon, Princess Anne might not instantly spring to mind.
However, this year has seen Anne’s timeless fashion choices receive praise from the public and fashion designers.
At the start of the year, Silvia Venturini Fendi, the matriarch at the helm of the revered Italian fashion house Fendi, praised Princess Anne for her elegant looks.
At Fendi’s AW24 men’s show – held in Milan in January – models stormed the runway in wax jackets, welly boots, and lashings of tartan in a love letter to the country core aesthetic Anne has spearheaded since the ’70s.
Fast forward to the Paris Olympics and the Princess Royal has continued to cement her status as a fashion inspiration with her down-to-earth style choices.
On the fifth day of the sporting competition, she wore a supportive white and blue Adidas bucket hat that can be purchased from high street stores including JD Sports for £23.
When attending the Rowing Women’s Quadruple Sculls medal ceremony, Anne delighted royal fans by donning her trademark Adidas sunglasses.
The shades, which have become a Gen Z fashion favourite, have been a part of Anne’s wardrobe since 2008, making them a timeless staple in the Princess Royal’s wardrobe.
Kendall Jenner opted for a Ralph Lauren motorsport-inspired jacket and matching cap at the games
Snoop Dogg, 52, kept his Paris Olympic 2024 outfits patriotic, mainly donning red, white, and blue, for Team USA
Lady Gaga kept her poker face at the Paris La Defense Arena with the help of her Versace sunglasses
It was a pair of sunglasses that also helped Bad Romance singer Lady Gaga stand out from the crowd.
The singer, 38, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, maintained a poker face with the help of her reflective Versace Horizon shield-frame sunglasses.
She added a bold red clip and scraped her blonde hair back from a centre parting into a low ponytail as she cheered on Nic Fink, who won silver in the men’s 100 metres breaststroke.
Elsewhere, Kendall Jenner asserted her loyalty to Team USA through her fashion choices, with the 28-year-old model donning an America-inspired outfit to the games.
Kendall donned a Ralph Lauren motorsport jacket with ‘USA’ emblazoned across the front and matching hat.
She teamed the pieces with a pair of classic high-rise blue jeans and white baby tee, creating a classic yet relaxed outfit.
Kendall’s enthusiastic approach to the games runs in her family, with her father Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, winning gold in the men’s decathlon in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal.
Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus, donned a pair of sunglasses in the shape of the Olympic rings
Kendall donned a classic cropped white t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans to the Artistic Gymnastics Women’s All-Around Final
Snoop Dogg, who quickly established himself as the face of the Paris 2024 Olympics, followed in Kendall’s footsteps with a series of patriotic outfits.
From carrying the Olympic flame through the streets of Paris suburb Saint-Denis to swimming – very badly – in a pool with ex-champion Michael Phelps, Snoop, 52, has been unavoidable.
The American even contributed to a video posted on social media on Sunday in which the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with various sport-related celebrities, heaped praise on Team GB.
‘Thank you, Great Britain, on behalf of big Snoop Dogg, the prince and his lovely wife,’ said the man who has previously admitted to being a fan of Norwich City football club and Coronation Street.
Snoop has become such a ubiquitous cheerleader for the Paris Games that one critic enthusiastically described him as the ‘Santa Claus of the Olympics’, a cuddly unofficial mascot bringing joy and comedy to a sporting competition hardly famous for its levity.
It wasn’t just the rapper’s presence at the games that got tongues wagging, but also his America-inspired outfits.
Star Wars actress Natalie Portman cut an elegant figure in a mustard blazer and a matching skirt
The 43-year-old kept her makeup to a minimum for the event, revealing her natural beauty
The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus, conveyed his pride for Team USA through his fashion choices, with him mostly sporting the colours of the American flag.
From a red, white, and blue tracksuit with a Kangol flat-cap to Olympic ring sunglasses with a Snoop Dogg beanie, the 52-year-old managed to dress on-theme while adding touches of his authentic style.
But as fans enthused about his willingness to send himself up and to show what appeared to be a genuine fascination in a wide range of sports, the Snoop euphoria was somewhat tarnished by the revelation that he may have been inspired less by the Olympic spirit than by the huge amounts of cash he was being paid.
According to several sources, official US Olympics broadcaster NBC paid Snoop $500,000 (£390,000) a day for his contributions. The $8 million total over the full 16 days of the games reportedly didn’t include his expenses nor pre-production work. Neither NBC nor the rapper have commented on his remuneration.
Elsewhere, Natalie Portman, 41, caught the public’s attention with her chic yellow suit at the women’s final of Artistic Gymnastics.
Straying from the patriotic outfits that other celebrities opted for, the Star Wars actress cut an elegant figure in a mustard suit jacket and matching skirt, paired with a simple white t-shirt.
She displayed her natural beauty as she stepped out to the sporting event with minimal makeup.
Michelle Yeoh kept it smart casual throughout the Paris Olympic Games, opting for tailored suits (seen at women’s diving medal ceremony)
The Everything Everywhere All at Once actress added a black leather Balenciaga bag to her outfit
In line with Natalie’s formal attire, Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh similarly opted for a smart casual look.
The 62-year-old Everything Everywhere All at Once actress has long established herself as a fashion inspiration.
Earlier this year, she electrified the Met Gala red carpet in a tinfoil inspired strapless Balenciaga gown.
She continued to demonstrate her style prowess at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a series of sophisticated tailored suits.
And Michelle once again revealed her affinity to the Spanish luxury fashion house Balenciaga as she donned a leather bag emblazoned repeatedly with the brand’s name.
The actress, who is set to feature in Amazon Prime Video sci-fi series Blade Runner 2099, added a pair of statement glasses to complement the outfit, adding a touch of individualism to her otherwise classic outfit.
