A woman sang ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ while on trial for killing her ‘sugar daddy.’
Lauren Harris, 29, denied but was found guilty of murdering 65-year-old David Wilcox at his flat in Wales with accomplice David Webster, 43.
Mold Crown Court heard Harris was the partner of Mr Wilcox and was angry on the day of the murder as she hadn’t been able to get cash out of his bank account.

During one point in the trial, Harris could be heard singing Shania Twain’s ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ as she was escorted to the dock whilst the jury were out of the room, reports Manchester Evening News.
After they were sentenced and led out of the dock to the cells, Webster shouted: “F****** psychopathic bitch” and “I hope you f****** burn in Hell, Lauren”.
During the trial jurors heard Harris had referred to Mr Wilcox as her ‘sugar daddy’ and his bank card had been provided “not willingly” to her.
In the five and a half months before the murder, £12,481 was withdrawn from his account, it was said.
It was said on the day of the murder in November last year Harris made eight attempts to get money from Mr Wilcox’s bank account.
During an evening of drinking and drug-taking at Mr Wilcox’s Colwyn Bay flat, the pair turned on the retired IT worker and attacked him using a knife and a vodka bottle.
Police came to the flat and found him alive but with serious injuries including two stab wounds, which he later died from.
Harris and Webster fled the scene in the victim’s Volvo and the car was later found crashed, the court heard.
Two knives were recovered from the vehicle and DNA tests of the handle matched Webster.
Harris was also heard confessing to stabbing her victim on CCTV.
Sentencing them, Mr Justice Edward Pepperall said: “You were sufficiently desperate for cash you braved torrential rain and persevered by going to two ATMs.
“You, Lauren Harris, were seeking money, while David Webster sought drugs.
“This murder was a joint attack in his home where he was entitled to be safe. This was a sustained and vicious attack, and you showed no mercy with a knife, a bottle which was used to bludgeon him and caused serious head injuries, and your shoes which caused rib fractures.
“It was a murder committed at least partly in anger as Mr Wilcox no longer had funds. You both callously helped yourself to his car, phone and watches and left him for dead. You gave him no further thought as you focussed on your own selfish needs.”
Harris, from Llandudno, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 25 years.
Webster, of Lacey Street in Widnes, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 23 years.
Thomas Whiteley, also 43, was cleared of the murder.
In a statement Mr Wilcox’s family said: “Mark loved us all and we loved him. We have lost our loving, funny, kind, and sensitive brother, son, husband, uncle, father, grandfather, mentor, and friend.
“Mark was a kind, caring and generous man who made us smile and laugh and whom always had a kind word for everyone he met and knew.
“As a family, we have been left absolutely devastated. Mark’s grandchildren will grow up without their doting and loving grandfather. Mark’s death leaves a void that feels irreparable. Things will never be the same again.”
