Bebe Rexha is claiming that she was ‘threatened’ by a security agent for speaking Albanian in an emotional new video, uploaded to her Instagram Story on Saturday.
As she shared footage of herself sobbing with her 11.9 followers, the singer, 34, explained that she was emotional because she was reportedly banned from her Lufthansa flight out of Munich Airport.
‘I’ve been threatened because I thought the security agent was Albanian. I spoke to him in Albanian asking where to get my ticket and now he is banning me from the flight,’ she alleged.
In a second video, which she took following the incident, Rexha recorded herself crying as mascara ran down her face, before going into detail about what happened.
‘I believe this to be a hate crime because I am Albanian,’ she wrote in a statement. ‘He would not let me take his name. He continued to mentally abuse me to make me feel like he was more powerful than he was.’
