Lady Mary Charteris, who once urged her social media followers to embark on the occasional 24- hour fast, has hit back at trolls criticising her for being skinny.
The model and DJ, 37, says becoming a mother to her daughter, Wilde, who is two, has helped her grow a thick skin.
‘Say I’m too thin, tell me I need to eat, if that’s what gets you going,’ the Earl of Wemyss’s daughter – who’s married to rock musician Robbie Furze – declares online.
‘Your words don’t touch the sides because I grew this little person inside me, in this strong body, and the love we share shields me from anything negative people have to say about my appearance.’

Playing Prince Andrew in The Crown? Don’t sweat it!
In winning a plum role in Netflix’s hit royal drama The Crown would be a career highlight for most young actors, but being cast as Prince Andrew appears to have left Tom Byrne with mixed feelings.
‘When the Newsnight special came out and he was in the news, it was a very strange and nerve-racking experience knowing that I had a very specific relationship to all that,’ he tells me at the first night of The 39 Steps, in which he stars, at the Trafalgar Theatre in Whitehall.
However, Byrne adds: ‘I knew I was not playing him in that period, so I let it wash over me and stayed detached from it all.’

Let’s Face it… Nick Clegg’s coining it in
He’s a failed politician, who helped wreck his party, but former Lib Dem leader Sir Nick Clegg is nevertheless becoming richer than the rest of Parliament put together.
I can disclose that the ex-deputy prime minister sold £8.7 million worth of shares in Meta earlier this month, according to stock market filings.
Clegg is ‘president of global affairs’ for the American tech giant, which owns Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram.
He had previously sold £11.99 million of shares since 2022, taking his total to almost £21 million. And he still owns share options worth around £12.9 million.
Clegg is said to be paid more than £15 million per year and has worked for Meta since 2018, so his total package has been worth more than £110 million.
Plus, he bagged a £3.6 million profit from the sale of his Californian mansion after moving back to the UK. He makes Premier League footballers look under-paid!
iPad designer to design a new multi-million-pound pad
In having snapped up a wondrous Cotswolds manor house for £17 million last year, Sir Jony Ive – revered designer of the iPad and iMac – submitted plans to improve it.
These, as I revealed, were denounced by locals as ‘beyond ludicrous’. Nevertheless, the council gave Ive the green light.
There was, I can disclose, one condition: that he stumps up a ‘Community Infrastructure Levy’ of £137,000. Loose change for Ive, who has a £200 million fortune.
