Gordon Ramsay says his wife Tana cooks at home – using recipes by Jamie Oliver.

The 57-year-old was speaking to fellow chef and friend Angela Hartnett, 55, and broadcaster Nick Grimshaw, 40, on Dish podcast. Discussing why people get stressed in the kitchen, Angela said: “If you see Tana when I’ve been around for supper, she’s so relaxed.

“Because why should she switch, she’s got five kids, she’s got him [Ramsay] hanging around trying to interfere.

“And she just cooks something everyone wants to eat, like a great lasagne or a brilliant shepherd’s pie. She’s amazing.”

Gordon added: “Yeah and they’re all Jamie Oliver recipes. Do you have any idea how hard that is for me?”

Jamie, 49, and Gordon are thought to have had a rocky relationship over the years, but are now friends.

Recently making headlines, Ramsay has confused fans over one of his new dishes served at his posh Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 eatery.

The menu item is a burrata, decorated with pine nuts, datterini tomatoes, aubergine, basil and toasted ciabatta.

Served at Gordon Ramsay’s Plane Food, a swanky restaurant on the departure side of Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport, it will set you back £14, but people aren’t convinced it’s worth the hefty price tag and have left some brutal thoughts.

Burrata is a cow’s milk cheese, made from mozzarella and cream with a harder outing and an oozy middle.

Gordon advertised the new starter dish on his Instagram and said: “Delicious burrata with datterini tomatoes, aubergine, pine nuts and toasted ciabatta, try before you fly at Heathrow t5!!” However, fans were quick to comment on their thoughts.

Mocking it for looking like a bargain meal, one diner asked: “Is that a Harvester meal?” While another used a play on words and jibed: “£14 for ‘plain’ food.”

A third wrote: “I’m Italian so in my country the cost is: 3€ for the brutta, 0,25 cent for the tomato probably 1€ for the rest… total price 4.45€ less than 3 pounds,” and a fourth quipped: “It’s so simple but expensive for sure.” However, others were excited to try the new offering as one fan chimed: “Simple Yet Yummy.”
