Jermaine Jenas – sacked by the BBC for inappropriate behaviour – will not appear on talkSPORT tomorrow and has had his profile page removed by the talent agency which represents him.

The One Show host, a favourite to replace Gary Lineker on Match of the Day, was fired by the corporation this week.

However, minutes after the story broke, he was on the airwaves presenting talkSPORT’S Drive programme.

Jenas was set to appear on the show again tomorrow but Mail Sport understands that will no longer be the case.

Mail Sport revealed on Thursday how Jenas had been dismissed for inappropriate behaviour

When questioned on the allegations by talkSPORT news, Jenas said: ‘Look, I can’t really talk about it.

‘I, as you can probably see, I am not happy about it. But currently, as it stands, I’m going to have to let the lawyers deal with it.

‘You know, there’s two sides to every story, as we know. So that’s all I can say right now.’

When pressed further, the former midfielder added: ‘Like I said, I’m not happy about this situation. You know, I’m going to be speaking to my lawyers about it is all I can say right now.

‘It’s odd, you know? And there’s definitely two sides. I’ve just got to leave this to a team of lawyers at the minute who are, yeah, I suppose just managing the situation.

‘This is… Yeah, it’s tough, you know. But I’ve got to listen to my lawyers.’

The radio station added that the allegations are of unsolicited messages sent to a female member of staff on The One Show.
