Grim scenes as Mike Lynch’s teen daughter Hannah is pulled from yacht wreckage

Rescuers have found the final body from the sunken Bayesian superyacht.

Italian newspaper Giornale Di Sicilia reports the body belonged to British billionaire Mike Lynch’s 18-year-old daughter, Hannah, who was spotted by divers this morning around the wreckage. The body of her dad was recovered on Thursday afternoon as a total of seven peopel were confimred dead following the sinking.

The body of Canadian-Antiguan national Recaldo Thomas, who was working as a chef on the superyacht, was recovered at the scene of the sinking on Monday.

Gareth Williams, a friend of the chef, told the BBC: “I can talk for everyone that knew him when I say he was a well-loved, kind human being with a calm spirit.”

Another friend, Eli Fuller, told the outlet Mr Thomas was “friends with everybody”, “always positive” and “sought after” in his profession.

Morgan Stanley International bank chairman Jonathan Bloomer, his wife Judy Bloomer, Clifford Chance lawyer Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda Morvillo were lost when the yacht sank at around 5am local time on Monday.

Mr Zagarola said: “From the first moment, it has not been easy or quick to inspect the boat. Think of an 18-storey building full of water.”

The 56-metre vessel was carrying 22 passengers and crew and was anchored off the port of Porticello when it suddenly capsized amid a horror storm. The boat trip was a celebration of Mr Lynch’s acquittal in a fraud case in the US.

The yacht, built in 2008 by the Italian firm Perini Navi, can accommodate 12 passengers in four double cabins, a triple and the master suite, plus crew accommodations, according to Charter World and Yacht Charters.

The vessel, which previously was named Salute when it flew under a Dutch flag, featured a sleek, minimalist interior of light wood with Japanese accents designed by the French designer Remi Tessier, according to descriptions and photos on the charter sites.
