A woman nearly lost a hand after reaching into a tiger enclosure at a zoo just hours after hopping into the bear enclosure to do the same thing.
The wild 24-year-old woman came face to face with the beastly 500-pound Bengal tiger after entering the restricted area next to the tiger and bear enclosures at Cohanzick Zoo in Bridgeton, New Jersey, on August 18.
A video filmed by witnesses shows a person jumping over a fence and approaching the caged enclosure of the tiger, reaching into the cage before quickly pulling her hand out when the animal reacts aggressively.

Police said there was similar video depicting the same scenario and person at the bear enclosure the same day.
On Friday Bridgeton Police charged Zyair J. Dennis, of Morton Ave., Millville, with one count of Defiant Trespassing. Two city ordinances covering general conduct of persons pertaining to climbing fences within the zoo were also issued.
Chief of Police Michael Gaimari Sr. Gaimari said Officer Anthony Cusano conducted the initial investigation on August 20. City officials notified police after receiving video from other zoo visitors who witnessed the incidents.
The Chief said videos and photos posted on the department’s social media sites and website led directly to the suspect’s identification. The suspect is due to appear in Bridgeton Municipal Court at a date yet to be determined.
Meanwhile, the Daily Star previously reported a woman jumped into an enclosure at a zoo to try and save cats reportedly being “molested” and “mounted”.
Footage shows the woman trying to climb into the monkey enclosure as some tried to pull her away while others watched on in disbelief.
Later that day Kunming Zoo, which is located in the Yunnan Province of China, released a statement confirming that two cats had been brought to safety after being removed from the Monkey Mountain enclosure. Read the full story here.
