Chelsea have now been handed a free run at Sancho, with the Blues looking for an ambitious swap deal that could see Raheem Sterling head back to Manchester to link up with the Red Devils.
According to the Manchester Evening News, exploratory discussions over a potential swap between Sancho and Sterling have been held. The report adds well-placed sources say the talks have not advanced any further, and a separate source believes a deal ‘feels unlikely’.
Sancho now faces an uncertain 24 hours, with the Englishman in limbo about his footballing future. PSG have also been touted as a potential destination for Sancho, but that deal now looks dead in the water.
