Oasis followers face paying extra to see Gallaghers than Taylor Swift

They are the hottest tickets in town, and they’ve got a price tag to match – with it costing a whopping £151 to stand at the Oasis reunion tour.

And for older fans who can’t handle two hours on their feet, seated tickets start at £73, rising to a hefty £205.

There is also a selection of luxury packages available for Oasis devotees with deep pockets, ranging from £216 to £506. These include merchandise items plus access to a pre-show party and a private Oasis exhibition.

In comparison, the most expensive standing tickets for recent concerts at Wembley by Taylor Swift cost £172. Meanwhile, standing tickets to Adele’s shows in Munich this month cost £350. A pre-sale was due to kick off today for Oasis fans who got lucky in a pre-drawn ballot.

The general sale starts at 9am tomorrow, with a total of 1,066,888 tickets available which are predicted to sell out within minutes.

Noel and Liam Gallagher buried the hatchet on their 15-year feud and announced earlier this week they would reunite for a 14-date global tour next summer

Noel and Liam Gallagher buried the hatchet on their 15-year feud and announced earlier this week they would reunite for a 14-date global tour next summer.

There has been such ‘unprecedented demand’ for tickets that the band has announced a further three shows – on July 16 in Manchester, July 30 in London and August 12 in Edinburgh.

In total, Oasis will play five dates at Heaton Park in Manchester and five at Wembley Stadium in London.

They will also play three nights at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh and a further two at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

The last two gigs will be in Ireland, the birthplace of Gallagher matriarch Peggy, 81, at Dublin’s Croke Park.

The Britpop icons are expected to announce even more dates for next year’s tour following the sale tomorrow.

However, some fans were left disappointed on Wednesday after the band ruled themselves out of headlining Glastonbury Festival.

The official Oasis Instagram account broke the news to fans in a post, which read: ‘Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year.’

It added: ‘The only way to see the band perform will be on the Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.’

The Gallagher brothers, who have not performed together since they got into a backstage fight in Paris in 2009, are predicted to pocket more than £50million each from the tour.

It will be a welcome boost to Noel’s bank balance, after his expensive £20million divorce settlement to ex-wife Sara MacDonald last year.
