Police launch investigation as three youngsters and a person discovered useless

Police have launched an investigation after three children and a man were found dead at a home in Surrey.

Cops believe the horrific incident on the residential street is isolated, and do not believe anyone else to be involved. 

The force have referred themselves to the police watchdog as they revealed they had had previous contact with the people who have died.

An investigation is now underway to establish the circumstances of their deaths on Bremer Road, Spelthorne. 

Chief Inspector Lucy Sanders of Surrey Police said: ‘This is a tragic loss of life in our community and we are working to establish exactly what has occurred.

‘There is currently a significant police presence at the location, and in the surrounding area, and we would like to thank local residents for their patience and understanding whilst we conduct our investigation.’ 

Police were called to the scene at around 1.15pm today, where they found the four bodies.

Their next of kin are aware and being supported by specialist officers. 

An IOPC spokesperson said: ‘We have been notified by Surrey Police about the tragic incident in Spelthorne today. We will be assessing a referral from the force to decide whether any action is required by the IOPC.’
