Serie A star David Neres was robbed at gunpoint after Napoli’s win over Parma.
Neres, 27, moved to Naples in the summer – and he was part of the side that survived an almighty scare from Parma on Saturday evening. New signing Romelu Lukaku fired Napoli level in the 92nd minute, before André-Frank Zambo Anguissa netted the 96th minute winner.
Anguissa’s strike had been assisted by Neres, his second assist this season. However, after the game, the Brazilian was forced to hand over his watch after a pair of armed thugs were able to shatter the window of his black minibus, according to local reports.

A video of the incident has circulated on social media that appears to show a shaken Neres being escorted to safety.
Reports suggested that Neres was threaten with a gun as he left the car, causing him to surrender his watch to the thugs. The pair then fled the scene as Neres was taken away to safety.
Neres had been travelling back to his hotel, alongside his wife, when the incident occurred. The pair reported the incident to the Italian police after making their way back to the Grand Hotel Parker in Naples.
Neres’ wife, Kira Winona, posted on an Instagram story: “David would like to apologise to the fans who were waiting for him outside [the hotel]. As they were trying to leave the stadium after the match, two men on a motorcycle wrecked his car and robbed him at gunpoint.”
The Brazilian is still settling into life in Souther Italy, having swapped Benfica for Napoli to the tune of €28million (£23.5m) earlier this summer.
