A seemingly “very drunk” man on an easyJet flight caused an emergency landing after attempting to storm the cockpit mid-air.
A clip on TikTok has emerged of the man being shepherded off the flight heading for Kos International Airport in Greece, which took off from London Gatwick Airport just after 3.30pm Tuesday.
The Airbus A320 experienced some turbulence during the four-hour flight, during which the allegedly intoxicated man got angry. The man claimed the pilot was “rubbish” and tried to get to the cockpit to take over the controls while the plane flew over 30,000 feet above land.

The mad bloke then tried to open one of the emergency exit doors, which led to a tussle as flight attendants rushed to stop him. The plane was forced to make an unplanned stop in Munich Airport, just under two hours after it had taken off.
German police boarded the plane and handcuffed the unruly man while relieved passengers cheered, reports the Sun. “Get off you loser!” one of the passengers can be heard yelling in a clip of the incident, while the man is escorted off the plane.
“My parents were 2 seats in front of this and were so scared apparently he tried to open the cabin door in flight. They’re still shaken now. They’re in their 80’s,” wrote one person underneath a clip.
While the police sorted out the incident, some Brit passengers taunted the flyer with a whooping chant of rapper KRS-One’s ‘Sound of da Police’ hit.
“Safety is easyJet’s highest priority and our cabin crew are trained to assess and act quickly and appropriately in all situations to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time,” EasyJet said in a statement.
“While such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour onboard.”
