EasyJet passengers are facing delayed flights at Bristol Airport after the airline suffered technical issues with its self-service kiosks.

Long queues formed in the bag drop area on Thursday morning which left travellers disgruntled.

Staff were forced to manually check in departing passengers due to the technical failure.

The issue has now been resolved but the delays could have a knock-on effect on later flights.

A Bristol Airport spokesman said the incident is being investigated.

The self-service kiosks were reported to not be working which caused queues and delays at departures.

‘@easyJet what is happening at Bristol airport right now? queues are outside both departure doors of the airport,’ one passenger wrote on X.

A few flights were delayed by an average of 15 minutes and the issue is being investigated.

A Bristol Airport spokesman said: ‘For a few hours this morning the easyJet self-service kiosks were out of order so staff manually checked-in passengers.

‘The problem has been resolved and things are back to normal. We apologise to any customers affected.’
