Major excessive avenue financial institution to shut 36 branches and lower 250 jobs – see full checklist

Another major blow has been dealt to the UK’s high street, with a huge banking chain announcing the closure of more than 30 branches.

With icons such as Boots, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Starbucks, Clarks, WHSmith and more all announcing store closures lately, it appears as if the final nail in the coffin could be on its way.

And this time the banking sector has ramped up the heat on the high street, as TSB Bank has confirmed that 36 branches are being closed – as well as making 250 members of staff redundant from its fraud and central operations department.
