Adele’s subsequent profession transfer revealed after asserting break

After wrapping up her multi-million dollar residency in Munich last week, Adele revealed she will be taking an ‘incredibly long’ break – but has been tight-lipped about her next career plans.

However, sources have since shared what the Grammy-winning artist may be pivoting to – and it could involve the big screen.

‘I just need a rest. I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now,’ the 36-year-old told fans.

According to a source, Adele, 36, who has an estimated net worth of $220 million, has been preparing to swap the stage for the screen while she takes a break from singing.

‘Adele’s been taking intense acting lessons from a top Hollywood coach for over a year,’ a source told the DailyMail.com.

‘When she commits to something she does it 100 per cent,’ they added.

After wrapping up her multi-million dollar residency in Munich last week, Adele revealed she’ll be taking an ‘incredibly long’ break – but has been tight-lipped about her next career plans

The source claimed the When We Were Young singer has ‘instructed’ her team to ‘put the word out’ to major film studios and producers that she’s ready, and they’re already in talks about some projects for her.

‘One well-placed Hollywood source has advised if she hasn’t already, she’ll need to take dialect coaching as her natural Cockney accent will limit her roles considerably,’ the source added.

Another source declared that Adele ‘will’ eventually return to touring, residencies and music and when she does, ‘everyone will know about it.’

‘There has even been talk that when she does return that she might add a Super Bowl performance to the comeback,’ they teased.

It’s not the first time the songstress has teased a venture into film.

In December 2023, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Chasing Pavements singer alluded to wanting to break into Hollywood, revealing there is one film she wants to do but the writer is not ‘mentally ready’ to write the script.

‘I bug him every now and then about it, but he’s just not there yet,’ she shared at the time.

‘But that’s the only role I ever want. Because I think I’d nail it. I think I’d do really, really, really good at it,’ she gushed.

The singer, who is dating sports agent Rich Paul, said she gets offered roles to play biopics of singers ‘all the time,’ but feels that’s ‘too obvious.’

‘Also anyone that’s great enough to have a biopic about them, you’re just setting yourself up for disaster,’ she pointed out.

‘Then would they want me to sing as myself? Because then it would sound like me, it wouldn’t sound like them. So I wouldn’t do it. But that’s all I’ve been offered, really.’

In a radio interview in July, she revealed she wanted to focus on family and ‘other creative things’ after her residencies ended.

‘I don’t have any plans for new music at all,’ she said. ‘I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.’
