Elle Brooke hopes that Jake Paul knocks out Mike Tyson when the two meet in the ring in November.
Paul, 27, initially gained fame through social media platforms like Vine and YouTube before pivoting to boxing in 2020. He defeated fellow content creator AnEsonGib via TKO in the first round of his debut match. Now, he’s arguably more recognised for his prowess in the ring, boasting an impressive 9-1 boxing record – his sole loss being a surprising split-decision against Tommy Fury in February last year.
The ‘Problem Child’ was originally scheduled to face off against boxing legend ‘Iron’ Mike in July, but the match was cancelled due to Tyson suffering an ulcer flare-up. With Tyson now medically cleared to fight, the pair are set to clash at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, come November 15.

Like Paul, 26-year-old TikTok sensation Brooke has been carving out her own professional boxing career since her victorious debut against AJ Bunker in 2022. She’s slated to go up against BKFC star Jenny Savage at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle on September 14, reports the Mirror.
However, she’s also been closely following the highly-anticipated Paul-Tyson match as a boxing enthusiast. In a recent exclusive chat with Mirror Fighting, Brooke confessed her hopes for Paul to knock out ex-heavyweight boxing champ Tyson when they finally face off in the ring.
When quizzed on how Paul could triumph over a much more seasoned opponent, Brooke responded: “By being the younger, fitter person that’s how he gets it done. Poor, poor Mike Tyson has already had to pull out once. I just think Jake is younger, fitter and stronger, especially in the heavyweight division.
“It’s not necessarily about skill but when you have speed because of youth, I think that will come into play. Do I think he’s going to knock him out? Realistically, I’m not sure. I hope he does to make a statement because a lot of people are going to be doubting him. But then he’s going to get a lot of stick… ‘You knocked out a 60-year-old, what does that prove?’. So Jake cannot win.”
Far removed from his glory days, Tyson, now 58, hasn’t fought competitively since retiring in June 2005 – apart from a 2020 exhibition match with Roy Jones Jr which ended in a draw after eight rounds. While Paul has accumulated several high-profile wins in his professional boxing career so far – including victories over former UFC stars Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz and Ben Askren – he has consistently been criticised for fighting older opponents who were arguably past their best.
Silva was 47 when he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Paul two years ago, while Diaz was not exactly in his prime at 38. Woodley was also 39 when he was floored by Paul in the sixth-round of their 2021 rematch, taken down with a powerful right hook that sent him spiralling face-first towards the canvas.
