Greggs is launching a 22-carat gold jewellery collection including signet rings and sausage roll earrings – but pastry fans say they won’t be caught dead in the clobber.
The ‘baked in gold’ bling range also features jammy heart locket necklaces and a 10-charm bracelet featuring pizza slices, bakes, sausage rolls, coffee cups and pink jammie doughnuts.
British artist Dion Kitson has designed the jewellery, which is available online from Friday and timed to coincide with London Fashion Week celebrating its 40th anniversary.

The pieces are the latest fashion collaboration for the bakery chain, following its clothing range with Primark in 2022 which included bucket hats, vests and sliders.
Hannah Squirrell, of Greggs, said: “We’re always looking for ways that help Greggs customers share their love for the brand.
“We’re excited to be teaming up with Dion as we step into the world of jewellery to deliver the fun and flavour that our customers know us for, in a unique and one-of-a-kind way.”
The five-piece collection includes £36 sausage roll earrings, along with a vegan version featuring a different pastry pattern, while the charm bracelet costs £96.
The £45 jammy heart locket necklace can hold a picture inside, while the £48 signet ring has the Greggs logo on.
Each piece is made from 22-carat gold.
Fans, however, aren’t too chuffed about the new release. “I genuinely thought this was a joke when it dropped into my inbox… I mean, don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the occasional @GreggsOfficial sausage roll, but not sure I’d want to wear or gift it,” said one Greggs fan.
“Anyone buying that tat has way more money than sense!,” another chimed in on X, while a third added: “Nothing says ‘classy’ like sausage roll earrings!”
One woman, however, seemed to be looking to get a free birthday pressie: “WAIT is that a jammy heart necklace?! it’s my birthday @GreggsOfficial, just so you know [happy tears emoji]”.
Dion, who has been hailed as the ‘Birmingham Banksy’, said: “When Greggs asked me to turn their most iconic menu items into jewellery, it made sense, it’s right up my street – sausage roll stud earrings and pink jammie doughnut charms?
“It’s about having fun with something we know and love in the UK.”
Stock is limited and fans will only be able to buy a maximum of five items per order, the budget bakery chain said.
