Mohamed Salah‘s agent has taken to social media to vent his frustrations at speculation regarding the Liverpool‘ man’s future.
The Egyptian forward’s contractual situation has been subject to huge fan and press attention after the 32-year-old’s comments a fortnight ago. Salah, who has less than a year left on his Anfield deal, openly suggested an exit is possible next summer after the Reds’ 3-0 thrashing of Manchester United.
Salah said: “This is my last year with the club and I want to enjoy it.” And now his agent has dropped an ominous hint with a furious outburst on social media.

Reports are touting Europe’s elite such as Juventus and PSG as potential suitors for Salah’s signature next year. Despite reportedly being on an eye-watering wage of around £350,000 per week, there are whispers the Reds might shy away from such hefty expenses again, especially given Salah’s age.
Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa tried to set the record straight in an explosive X post, yet only managed to stir the pot more. He wrote: “FYI all those ‘journalists’ who imply having ‘inside information’ about Mohamed’s future are making claims/posts based on absolutely nothing. Just click-w***ing.

He added: “‘Sources close to Mohamed’ don’t exist. This post is really just to tell you that they don’t know.”
Salah was approached by Saudi Arabian team Al-Ittihad a year ago, who dangled a mega £100million plus £50m in add-ons to tempt him and Liverpool into a deal. However, Salah’s agent was quick to shut down the rumours at the time.
He said: “If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to LFC,” reports the Mirror.
Liverpool did not accept the offer for the winger, who has now registered 214 goals and 92 assists across 352 outings since his move from Roma in 2017. Following the demolition job on Manchester United at Old Trafford two weeks ago, Liverpool boss Arne Slot seemed totally untroubled by the situation.
Slot said: “It’s a lot of ‘if’. At this moment he is one of ours and I am really happy with him being one of ours and he played really well,” he spilled to Sky Sports.
He added: “I don’t talk about contracts from players but I can talk for hours about how Mo played today.”
Salah is set to start once again this weekend, with Nottingham Forest making the trip to Anfield on Saturday afternoon (3 pm). With three goals and as many assists from three Premier League matches this term, he will be keen to continue his form.
