UK’s most violent prisoner Charles Bronson sparks friendship with glam psychic

Notorious lag Charles Bronson has sparked a friendship with a glam psychic in the clink, according to reports.

Bronson, who has changed his name to Charles Salvador, has a lengthy criminal history and has spent much of his life in prison. He was convicted of wounding while inside prison in 1975, 1978 and 1985.

He was previously released in 1987 and 1992 but was jailed within weeks of each release. The 71-year-old has also taken multiple hostages over the years, including deputy prison governor Aidan Wallace in 1994. The infamous criminal has also been denied parole multiple times. He is currently holed up at high- security HMP Long Lartin, Worcs.

Even still, he has struck up a friendship with Jacqueline Whelan, 35, who went to see him after she attended his latest failed parole hearing, and they ‘swapped letters,’ according to The Sun.

The title reports that the Reiki therapist, who visited Bronson last month, wants to help the infamous lag win his freedom by aiding him with Japanese “energy healing”.

A source said: “Bronson is cock-a- hoop that he’s friends with Jacky.

“He’s been talking about her non-stop.”

She has reportedly told pals she wants to help him stay out of trouble, by transferring good energy his way.

The insider said: “She’s told him she can send him healing energy on visits — and from afar — which will help him physically and emotionally.

“But most people think it’s a load of nonsense.”

Ms Whelan confirmed her friendship with him but declined to comment, as did the Prison Service, The Sun reported. The Prison Service told the Daily Star that it doesn’t comment on visitations for an individual prisoner.

It comes after Bronson was said to have hit murderer Robert Donaldson with two hooks and two uppercuts when the killer attempted to attack him at a wing of Category A HMP Woodhill, in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, in May.

An unnamed source told the MailOnline, that Donaldson angrily charged at Bronson with his fists raised and knocked into him as he walked down a landing.
